At Paloma Yoga, our mission is to provide high-quality yoga classes that are accessible to everyone. We believe that yoga can help improve physical and mental health, and we are committed to making it available to all.
Fernanda has worked one on one with public schools, clinics, and corporations in bringing a yoga studio experience into their place of business using the gym for the kids, the library for school staff, break rooms and conference rooms as a place to create a yoga environment.
Once week for 60 or 90 minutes the whole staff gathers for mindfulness in movement. It is so powerful and positive.
The mobile studio experience includes yoga tools & blankets, candles, sage and palo Santo smudge, healing sounds with singing bowls and a carefully designed playlist.
Allow us to show you how Paloma Yoga can elevate your place of work.
Yoga can help with work focus in a number of ways, including:
It improves energy levels, boosts concentration, reduces stress, and increases creativity making your employees more productive in their work. Many companies now recognize the power of yoga and are starting to offer yoga classes as part of their corporate wellness programs.
Yoga can be such an efficacious treatment for PTSD because it works with both the mind and the body, while also helping to forge a sense of safe community from which individuals can draw comfort and support.Studies looking at yoga and PTSD found that those who participated in yoga experienced a significant improvement in their PTSD symptoms, a greater change in their ability to sleep, in how they perceived anxiety and stress, and in their resilience to everyday life. The participants also saw improvements in their mental clarity, a higher self-esteem and a greater ability to self-reflect.Through yoga, people can safely start to move out of these states of being and can start to find a sense of relative safety. They can then also start to explore how their body is feeling, accept some of the problems they have been dealing with, and finding the ability to be ‘present’ in their body. This is crucial for starting the journey towards recovery.
